Neurodivergent students bring a wide range of strengths that many employers actively value - from creativity to strategic thinking and innovation. But navigating the workplace can still present challenges, especially if you’re unsure how to ask for adjustments or how to talk about any support you might need.
This online panel event, will explore what being neurodivergent in the workplace can look like. You’ll hear from a panel of professionals about their lived experiences, what helped them succeed, and how to identify and ask for the adjustments that make a difference - whether during recruitment or once you’re in the role.
We’ll also offer practical advice on how to advocate for your strengths, communicate your needs, and feel more confident approaching conversations with employers.
This event will be particularly useful if you:
• Identify as neurodivergent
• Want to learn how to talk about your strengths and needs with employers
• Are curious about the kinds of adjustments that can support neurodivergent professionals
• Would value honest reflections from neurodivergent professionals on navigating work
By attending, you’ll:
• Hear from professionals about their experiences of being neurodivergent in the workplace
• Learn what adjustments might be possible during recruitment and in your job
• Gain confidence in how to talk about your strengths and ask for support
• Understand your rights and options when it comes to workplace inclusion
